In many offices AI is already in use: private accounts, free tools, texts containing client data. Usually well meant, rarely governed.
AI systems that write emails, pull data or carry out tasks on their own need clear limits. Otherwise they do more than intended.
The EU AI Act requires organisations that deploy AI to take measures to build AI literacy among their staff (Art. 4) – still in force after the 2026 Digital Omnibus amendments.
None of this is a reason to panic. It is a good reason to get a clear picture before someone else decides for you: a tool, a vendor, or chance.

Before you ask
Is the 15-minute call really free?
Yes, with no obligation and no fee. You get an honest assessment and a first step. Whether anything more follows is your call – and often the honest answer is: not yet.
We're rather sceptical about AI. Is this still for us?
Especially then. Scepticism is a sensible stance on AI. My aim is not to convince you to use it, but to give you the basis for a good decision – including the decision not to do certain things.
Do we need technical knowledge?
No. Everything is explained in plain language, with examples from your working day. The workshops are built for people who work with documents, clients and patients, not code.
What does the EU AI Act have to do with us?
Under Art. 4 of the EU AI Act, organisations that deploy AI systems must take measures so their staff have sufficient AI literacy. The obligation remains after the 2026 Digital Omnibus, in amended form. The AI Compass workshop is designed to serve as a documented measure. It is not legal advice.
Do you sell software or partner with vendors?
No. I am independent and take no commission. If a tool makes sense, I'll tell you what to look out for – which one you choose is up to you.
How do you handle our data?
Orientation, training and assessment don't require access to client or patient data. Where examples are needed, we use anonymised or invented cases.
